Feeding
Hope ♥

One month. Many lives. Endless goodness.

On the last Sunday of every month, Brenda and a crew of volunteers set up tables downtown and serve hot meals, hygiene kits and a little dignity to our unsheltered neighbors.

How it started

A few friends. Eleven plates. Then sixty.

"I started Feeding Hope after volunteering with Tiffany and Bryan Driscoll in Pittsburgh. I felt so happy helping others. I was going to order supplies and send them to Tiffany's house, just because I could. Then I thought, why not do this in my own community?

Our first month, with a few friends helping, we fed 11 people. I learned that many of our neighbors in need are kept out of sight downtown, and that outraged me. Now that I know, I'm moving forward.

Every month more people bring food, water, toiletries and their time. It is truly a blessing to see how people come together. Every day is a great day to have a great day."
